I fell like the alignment of the title face of all the faces is off
it is aligned with the bottom of type designer because when it was aligned with patrick griffin, further up there was too much negative space between the title and body copy

Hey, I agree with you that when it's aligned to the top, it feels like there's too much space underneath. For this reason I like the first one better, there seems to be a more even sense of space above and below. Maybe you can try moving it around in that area, like maybe not to the bottom of typographer but to the top? I don't know but somewhere in that area :P

I have some correction to make on your type. See e-mail. But here I would say that your typeface designer is too big and the title is too big takes too much attention in this small space.
