Greek Mythology Icon poster

versions 1 &2

Myth: Prometheus - Zeus punishes Prometheus for tricking him and 
takes fire away from Prom.'s creations: man. Prom. steals back fire for man and
is punished by Zeus for doing so. His punishment is to be chained to a mountain,
and a crow would come and eat out his stomach during the day, the during the night Prom.'s stomach
would grow back only to have it eaten out again the next day and so on.

I adore the idea you have for your poster but I don't really think you need to repeat yourself in the second one. The point is shorten and good in your first one since you have it in a circular motion.

nice start on your piece but there is no concept. assignment was to look at your myth through new eyes. like think of it in a very very simple way: the way i see the story [you might interpret it differently] is you have to live with the consequences of your actions. flipping that into a contemporary concept it could be something as simple as a kid getting punished by his mother by something they did wrong and that's what you would have your poster illustrate. i hope that makes sense! :]

Yea I was a bit confused how to tackle this at first, but I'm pretty sure I can come up with something that reintroduces it the myth in "new eyes" like you mentioned.
