Hi everyone, this is Meagan. I'm posting my brochure drafts below. The first one below is what I've been developing for the inside, and the rest is what I've been laying out for the opposite side.
I think the second one is my favorite for the back. Thanks!!

Hi Megan,

I really like the second one for the exterior, but i would change the inside part, if not it is very monotonous. Try to work with letters too, but making another pattern.

Good job anyway!

Dear Meagan,

There are many good things about all of your compositions. Each of us might like one page more than another. It will be very subjective and will hardly help you, unless you have your favorite one and your opinion will be supported by others.

I think, the only way to help judge your work is to know the concept. What is the most essential thing that you discovered in your research about Hoefler? THAT will be the key to help you move forward confidently.

Can you define what your concept is?

My two cents,
Olga

Thanks guys! I researched a lot about Hoefler, I found the most essential thing about him is how he has helped pioneer typography into the modern day, however he still retains a vast knowledge and influence from historical typographers. I wanted to focus on the typeface Hoefler, one of the first he designed for the Adobe Systems to express the range of typographic controls that can be utilized on the computer. Along with his typeface he included a set of dingbats that are specifically drawn to complement his typeface. I agree with Gonzalo, my favorite is definitely #2. I used his typeface Hoefler to explore and create a pattern that represents the form and curve of his letters and dingbats, almost creating an abstract piece that can still be seen as type. I wanted to show the beauty of his typeface that was drawn specifically for the computer.

Thanks for your help!! :)
