hello this is joe from Wednesday class. I question the use of collona
as your typeface for the logo for a few reasons. Number one the tail of the "i" runs into the "n". It appears as "sunderella" to me. I have asked other people what they see with the top left logo covered up and they all said "sinderella" an interesting example is here (http://www.themade-ritecompany.com/assets/graphics/sunkist.gif) do you see "Sunkist" or "Sinkist"? This alone is enough for me to change the typeface maybe to a sans serif. Also that typeface was a roman face in which was created for advertising in 1926. The guy who made it also created Times and times new roman which is similar to the look of what you chose. I think it is too easy contrasted with the name. And times new roman is that font we were all required to use on high school papers. Since you are changing the name for no reason i think it should be a modern typeface. You have interesting shapes with the letter combination sin der ella
epecially the two ll's. To me that is begging for some attention but it also may be too obvious. I really like your concept though. Especially how it has a story behind it.

Great comments from Rebecca and Joseph.

I agree with some doubts about the name—might look like it was misspelled. The intention to use this word is clear—a magical transformation, but the misspelling of the word bothers me.

If you stay with this name, I think that using cosmetic tools as a part of your logo defeats the purpose of your product—instead of a numerous brushes, pencils, shades, etc. you offer a much more portable , simple, fast and economical (in terms of time, space and price) solution — a cosmetic mask.

Can you work with the name to design it as a mack, break in three levels (as Joseph suggested) and create a beautiful fancy block of type close to the mask form. Logo is not only a horizontal line
in different typefaces, but different compositions, different sizes of the letters, a nice blend of shapes and typography..

And the last thing is "12" . I have some doubts about it. Everybody knows that the magic had happened at midnight. You want to emphasize—instant, without any hard work, magical, effortless

effortless look

I am not sure that 12 helps you. If you say "cinderalla-in-a minute" almost like a coffee : ), then it will make sense to me. easy, quick.

Think a little more.

Good luck,
Olga
