Jungmin from wednesday class-baby bottle project/junior

This is Jungmin from Wednesday class.
My product is Baby Bottle which changes the color when it became a right temperature.

-Concept

This book has two functions on it, for babies and parents. Mothers pretended to read books for their babies even though they aren’t capable to read text yet. For saving money, I put the babies books together, , when parents bought this book. I called “My First Color” book for the babies that has related with YumYum baby bottles. And it has the contents related with feeding bottle with vivid color and onomatopoeia. One side for babies and the othe one is for mothers. Also I tried to emphasize the uniqueness of the products by covering the book with the photo of baby bottle.

-Company Name : YumYum

-Why YumYum?

A right temperature of milk is the tastiest milk. This bottle helps to notice right temperature for babies.

GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACKS, THANK YOU:)

Hey! this is Rebecca from class, I am sort of confused about the book and bottle. I understand what the bottle was from class, it's a baby bottle that changes to a certain color when the temperature of the bottle is appropriate for the baby. I don't really understand how the book relates to the baby bottle. Is it supposed to be like an instructional book on how to use the bottle? If so, will it be a baby book to educate parents on their babies? I don't know if it has to be a completely separate thing. It might be better if that information was incorporated into the brochure about the bottle. I think your idea about the bottle is really good and there are millions of parenting/baby books I'm not sure if you really need like a separate packaging. I'm sorry if I confused you more, I am just kind of confused about what your project is now, but I hope I at least helped out a little bit.

GOOD LUCK!!!

hey, Rebecca again! I just did a second look and now I think I understand, you're trying to make it about taking care of a baby.

I think that shouldn't be the focus, I think that should be secondary if anything, I think you need to focus on the product. I just know about your product because I heard about it in class, but if I wasn't in class I'd think your book was an instructional book on parenting. Which isn't a bad thing, I just think you need to add more about the product.

"yum yum" is a good name because it's like a baby association with food. The cow logo may be too literal. Maybe it should be a little less kid like though I feel like you're branding it more to parents and not the children, the parents are buying it for their babies. (just a thought I may be totally wrong). Maybe finding a healthy medium between child-like and adult-like.

Hope this all helps!

Hey, this is Elizabeth from class.
Beginning with the company name and logo, I like the name YumYum. The logos I like best are the one with the mother and child and the cow. The cow may be too literal but it made me laugh, I like it.

I'm undecided on whether having two books is necessary. I think it could be visually interesting if you incorporated the two. I especially like your idea to include onomatopoeia, that's fun for both parents and children and makes it interactive which I think is key for a product dealing with children. Also, as far as the colors go - I really like the colors from the photo that has all the different colored bottles lined up. I personally would like to see colors of that intensity in the brochure more than the ones you currently have.

The milk carton packaging is interesting but if you decide to only use one book in the end, it may seem to be a little too fussy. In that case, having the brochure be the shape of the bottle cropped like it is on the carton could be nice. It could be like one of those thick baby books printed on board book like this: http://www.alibris.com/glossary/board-book

I hope that helped some.
