Hello, this is Rebecca from Wednesday's class. My idea for Eleanor Rigby:

it is a rough sketch but I just want to see if the idea would work before I continue. The first image is my typography and the second image is what I want to go over the type. It will be hand drawn with a blue pen. Not every section of type will have a drawn person/leaf. But depending on what part of the song, the image will be big or small. Please HELP!!

Rebecca, I would like to hear other people opinions, but I think your projects progresses beautifully. I am glad that now, you are brave enough to use scale. The range from the full-page -human-figures to the tiniest leaves gives you an opportunity to build your structure rhythmically and intertwine your type and image nicely.
Keep going. I would like to see other pages of your efforts to combine image and type. Don't polish anything yet. Think about the cover.

hi rebecca,
i like how some of your figures are outlines and some are filled in- it adds a good amount visual interest. have you thought about using a colored pencil instead of a pen? just an idea. maybe it'll give you more of that sketchy look you're going for. i also think that you'll be successful at adding the type over your visual. seems like it'll work well.

Hey Rebecca,

This is Eddy from your class. Could you tell me the name of your song again so that I could reference it so that I could better help you with your ideas.
