Hi Jared, I think that the tone is just right. Much better. Scary. As if humanity never existed. Only type with the word lord somehow remotely reminds about the human civilization. That is why we began visual music with the atmosphere, tone, only then composition, type, details because you begin with the whole, then look for its parts and only after that, check if your whole is a applaud place for its parts to live in.
I need to see a little more hairy texture around eyes. Maybe, by hand?

I love the texture and tone of eyes..
Only one thing bothers me is type.
you could use one typeface or hand type.
It has legibility issue.
Overall this is great..
