I definitely like the first window one, I'm a fan of the worn covers but the type blends too much into them and makes it hard to read. Kudos though, they're coming along well!
i dig the 2nd one w/ the inverted window, it's new and something different i would add another window so it stays true to the story but it looks cool. i don't like the type play w/ it. the textured one.. they've been done. good luck darling, amie :]
Caryn, I am so amazed how you are progressing towards abstract imagery and purely conceptual solutions. Huge step forward.
Both white and black window are very good in terms of image. I like inverted. It has an absurd quality to it—unexpected combination, while the natural light is more promising, spiritual, hopeful, which is not true to the play and to your depressing direction.
Typography is not related to the image, typeface-wise and composition-wise.
I would have the inverted one(black window) because it looks more empty, miserable, and interesting to me. The image makes me curious about the book. Is there a man in it? I don't think you need it. Nice:D
