Final Medea Poster
Question regarding the type book project
Hello Olga,
Its Dale. Regarding the type book project I just wanted to confirm what we discussed in class on Wednesday. We agreed to a one paragraph book, with a sentence on each page on translucent paper which provides the effect of the entire contents of the book visible form cover to end. Am I correct?
Thanks
Dale

Printing companies for you
Hi everybody,
Many students have been asking me about the printing companies needs that are professional, reliable, and cheap at the same time. Here they are:
1. http://www.abgusa.com/contactus.htm
2. http://www.project44ny.com/
Second one is cheaper, but sometimes, you have to be a little bit patient waiting for them to call you back, while the first agency's communication style is very efficient.
In case, if you need to have a free paper, you can order it from the list of companies I attached.
4. Printicon: http://www.printicon.com
5. Miller & Debel Prepress Svc www.mdprepress.com
This is a wonderful professional company, but pretty expensive. They might give you a discount as current students of SVA hoping to serve you in the future, when you become famous.
In case, if you need to have a free paper, you can order it from the list of companies I attached.
Hope, it was helpful,
Olga

Medea
Hey guys, I just wanted to finish up this medea poster to include in my portfolio, and this is what I have so far. I like the "Euripides, Medea, etc" text where it is, and I have made the line a little less perfect. I also moved the Public theatre info and treated it in the same way. What do you guys think? I was also considering moving the Public theatre info to crawl along side the hand, just like the text in the most recent version. Is this a good direction? Thanks.

new CALIGzzz
thanks to Olga's amazing advice I now have an updated version of Caligula to post. I changed the type to something more pointy-throne-ish/serif. Im keeping the gradient, as Olga noticed as well, it is more theatrical, almost like a stage light. The only thing that has changed here really from the last version is type, cuz I think the image is done-zoe... but i did make him a little smaller, which im ok with.
